He calls it the Kilo Volt Amp Reduction Unit or KVAR Unit. It is supposed to make energy more efficient and cheaper to use and can save you up to 25% on your Electricity Bill.

The KVAR Energy Savings unit has been put to use in a bowling alley in Volusia County, Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. The customer says that he has saved anywhere from 12 to 15% on his power bill. He says that making power more efficient makes the motors last longer and some of these motors are now hard to find.
